Good times surfing with all my friends, old & new, at the 24th Annual Rell Sunn Memorial Surf Contest at Ditch Plain Beach in Montauk this past weekend. I’ve been surfing this contest since I was 8yrs old. it’s been 3yrs due to Covid since the last one. This year was the best ever with great weather, waves, and crowds raising lots of $$$ for the East End Foundation & community🙏🤙 Stoked to make finals and collect some beautiful wood surfboard trophies 🥉moving up to Open #shortboard, Open #longboard & Anything Goes, Wet & Wild (tandem with matthewgoldfrab) on my Dads nycmtkvt 11footer 🤣 Thank you to all the organizers, volunteers, and all those who donated and shared the aloha spirit.
