Seeing how many people are using their platforms to raise awareness on social media warms my heart. However, this is not enough. This movement is more than just a trend. To make a greater impact, I encourage everyone to take the time they would normally devote to social media to educate themselves and their families and have those difficult conversations, write to your local leaders or senators, join a peaceful protest, donate, and REMEMBER TO VOTE THIS NOVEMBER (if u can). To my fellow non-black followers: this is our fight too, and it cannot be won until we all stand on the same side. To my fellow young people: our generation will define the future of this country.
