I’ve always loved every aspect of snowboarding. Competing is not everything to me, but I always wanted to give it my best shot to have an experience in the contest scene. It took me a really long time to find my groove in competing with no halfpipe where I grew up. It required a lot of patience and resilience to finally make things click. Getting knocked down and “failing” so many times really put my mind to the test.
A few years ago I was inches away from quitting competitive snowboarding. At that same time the
@ussnowboardteam took a big chance on me and gave me a spot on the halfpipe team. That changed everything for me.
The US team has given me resources that I could only have dreamed of having growing up, they’ve rocked with me through thick and thin times in my career, provided some unreal opportunities to grow as a rider and human and I couldn’t be more thankful for the support they’ve given me.
