At this year’s SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference (NLSC) in Atlanta, Georgia, twenty-nine Audio, Video, Technology and Film (AVTF) teams from across the country competed in the Video News Production category. Students were challenged to stack and record a three-minute news show using a selection of newswire stories — all within a limited timeframe. As a highlight, competitors and their advisors capped off the experience with an exclusive tour of the iconic CNN newsroom at Warner Bros. Discovery.
