My daily non-negotiable list…
• A quiet morning — this can be as short as 10 minutes even if it means waking up at 4:30 with a 5 o’clock call. I create space to wake up, “ become a human”, & enjoy silence.
• Rx Movement — exercise is medicine (a daily dose is 88% more effective if you enjoy what you are doing)*
• A call/text/virtual or handwritten letter to someone I care about — I often think of the people in my life who inspire me. The people I love. The people I root for. And they deserve to hear that. Plus… life can feel lonely sometimes and it’s a great reminder of the beautiful web of humans I have in my life ♥
• Journaling — on January 1, 2014 I wrote what would be the first journal entry to *hopefully* the rest of my life. I keep all of my journals together. I only use the zebra ink ultra fine pen. The only two people who have ever read my journals without my consent are my exes. Coincidence?
• Something sweet — maybe a moment, maybe a new recipe. But the day just would...
