Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has enacted a new law suspending cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), according to Iranian state media.
The law, passed by parliament last week, is titled “Suspension of the Islamic Republic’s Cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency with a Two-Urgency Requirement.” It was originally introduced in parliament last month.
The move comes after the IAEA’s board voted to declare Iran in violation of its obligations under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. Tehran accuses the IAEA of siding with Western countries and giving cover for recent Israeli air strikes.

The IAEA responded in a statement: “We are aware of these reports. The IAEA is awaiting further official information from Iran.”
Israel’s Foreign Minister Gideon Saar called the decision “scandalous”...
