Thanks to Lola Koch’s lolakochny heartfelt support and the inspiring vision of the New York City nycopera, our Joffrey Ballet School Trainees were given an unforgettable opportunity to shine at Bryant Park’s Summer Stage Series bryantparknyc—performing Libertango, a bold and contemporary reimagining of Astor Piazzolla’s iconic score choreographed by our Artistic Director, angelicastiskin. Angelica's bold and expressive choreography reimagined the tango through a contemporary lens—brought to life by our incredible Joffrey Ballet School Trainees: Julia Felps, Leo Freude, Isabella Roddy, Tessa Sieber, and Emma Wilton. We are deeply grateful for this shared commitment to uplifting rising voices and nurturing the next generation of artists.
