At approximately 12:51 PM, the Richmond Fire Department was dispatched to the 1700 block of East Main Street following reports of a Structure Fire. A working fire was declared upon arrival, and the incident escalated to a second alarm immediately. By 1:22 PM, the fire reached third-alarm status. A total of 11 engines, 4 ladder trucks, 3 battalion chiefs, 4-5 fire marshals, 4-5 medics from Richmond Ambulance Authority, Richmond Fly Squad along with Richmond & Capitol Police. Crews remained on scene for several hours, to ensure all hotspots were extinguished. During this time to ensure continued fire & emergency service coverage throughout the city, mutual aid support was being provided by Henrico, Chesterfield and Hanover Fire Departments. facesofheroes #firefighter #firedepartment #firefighters #chiefmiller
