"Each of us has a responsibility to do what we can to make life better for those around us." 🤝💙 That's what drives Jim Bander, a longtime Tempe resident and passionate volunteer and donor with Tempe Community Council. After moving to the Valley for work and settling in Tempe with his family, Jim found purpose in giving back, first through Agency Review, then by diving deeper into issues like homelessness, hunger, and addiction through TCC’s Community Impact Committee. For Jim, community means showing up and doing what you can, however you can. “Even something as small as adding a dollar to your water bill can help create real change,” he says. His message?
