This is one of the hundreds of birds that live in the John James Audubon Birds of America Collection. The Least Sandpiper or Little Sandpiper page was published in 1981 and was part of the baby elephant folio collection. The famous Birds of America which is on permeant exhibition here is known as a double elephant folio, spanning 5.5 ft. This version is significantly smaller and can be bought fully bound unlike the originals, which were bought via subscription service.
