MAGA HAS DECIMATED THE GOP. #TeamDL @attorneykatelg : I spent some time at the Texas countryside last week at a dude ranch, and I was surprised by how much MAGA stuff was everywhere. Hats, flags, sparkly Stanleys, you name it. Out of curiosity, we stopped by the Trump store. I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised by how openly cruel and racist everything was. There’s this odd mix of warm country hospitality and really mean, hateful culture. This one man at a ranch nearby who helped me was kind, but when I looked down, I saw a silver bracelet on his wrist with a swastika and eagle in the center. It was subtle, but loud if you knew what you were seeing. There is a silent comfort with white supremacy out here. The signals are quiet, but constant. No one has to say it; it’s assumed.
