Philadelphia's largest blue-collar union's strike entered day 3 after 12 hours of negotiations Wednesday into Thursday morning. Mayor Cherelle Parker and DC 33 exited negotiations around 1:30 a.m. Thursday, and are expected to resume talks later in the day. The union represents about 9,000 city workers, ranging from sanitation workers to crossing guards. Union leaders are advocating for higher wages and health care benefits for all members.
