If you want to take THIS walk in 2025— #havasupai permits open February 1! What you NEED to know… This is one of the most gorgeous destinations we’ve ever camped!! It truly is a magical oasis and so, understandably— 🎫 Permits are required 100% of the time! 🗓️ Public Permits for 2025 open February 1 at 8am—Arizona. ⚠️: Arizona does NOT observe daylight savings time so 8am in AZ is 7am PST (California) & 8am in MST (Colorado). ⚠️ Because SO many people visit the permit site right at 8 AM, it known to crash as soon as it opens. (This was true for us last year!). Luckily our friends kept trying and they secured permits as soon as the site reopened. Hang in there—it’s worth it 👏.
