What do y’all think? I know as a state with a wrong way driver problem some of you are gonna be like 🤨. Here’s what the ADOT website says about safety: “Six key flex lane safety features will be used to prevent vehicles from entering the flex lanes when traffic is flowing in the opposite direction. Prior to a change of direction for the traffic in the flex lanes, all traffic from the current direction will be cleared.” You can see the swinging arm gates at the end of this video and they have an additional barrier that looks like a gate to prevent cars from entering the wrong way.
