The night before the Calgary Stampede parade. People always bring chairs down to 'secure' their spots along the route (one time some people brought a couch, see my previous post). ▪️ Is this clever? Or dickish? Never really could figure that out. Maybe it's okay because it's nice to be courteous to others, and there are many other spots available EARLY in the morning. Maybe it's rude AF because there are no designated spots and putting a chair out the night before doesn't mean crap - first come first serve.
