QUINCY JONES was a light to this world. Michael Jackson is actually the one who introduced us many years ago. Q had originally turned Michael on to my Personal Power tapes in the mid-eighties while Q was producing MJ’s Bad album. That’s how it all started… Anyone that was lucky enough to know Q knows that he was nothing but PURE LOVE. To know Quincy was to love Quincy. Everyone loved him. Plus, he was no doubt THE coolest human being you’re ever going to meet. He’d tell you the kind of stories that would just leave your jaw on the table. One day he’d be in the Middle East meeting with heads of the Israeli government and the next day he’d be talking to the PLO. He was the king of rapport and connection.
