On the morning of September 11, 2001, I was in Hawaii, leading an event with 2,000 people from 40 countries, including over 100 New Yorkers who had just received devastating news of heartbreaking loss. I vividly remember the transformative power of unity in that room, as people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs came together in the face of tragedy.
