Yesterday I was taking photos, not charging, not acting aggressively, stepping backwards with the others, and very obviously just taking pictures. In that time I had several gas canisters thrown my way and shot at by pepper ball’s. Something from a rotary gun was shot at my feet and flew fragments at me, bruising my chest and leg. I saw no one acting aggressive towards them or in any way “rioting”. They tackled a man head first into a metal garage door and had three officers on him. He was screaming until he was carried away beaten and bloody. They used force, weapons, and LRADs at everyone. There was no riot or looting. Just people with signs, handing out food and drinks.
