Lorde dropped a whole bunch of merch with the release of her fourth album, #Virgin, last week, including a translucent CD that apparently comes with some major functional issues. Fans have been sharing videos on social media of themselves trying to play the clear plastic discs, which are now sold out, only to find out they don’t actually work. Newer CD players seem to be able to handle the disc, but older ones — AKA most of them — are often unable to play it. Naturally, fans are pretty pissed. Read more about the fiasco at the link in bio.
