Listen... “Rock Bottom” I’ve been there many times. We are old (and new) friends. Some of the best ideas, biggest breakthroughs, and boldest moves in my life didn’t come when everything was going right... they came when nothing was. In fact, when I started Spanx my life was pretty rock bottom. I had been living with my mom, selling fax machines door to door. I was dating the wrong people. I was floundering and so lost. But I believe Rock Bottom is the most fertile ground for change. There’s something about having nothing to lose that ignites creativity and courage.
