When I was in my 20's and coming up I got a chance to sit with this very wealthy man and chat. I asked him "how do you live rich". Where do you vacation? How much cash do you keep at home? A zillion questions I wanted to know in the event I came into big money.
One of his answers really surprised me and stuck with me: Take time for you.
I was like "Huh"?
He said "it's a superpower".
Benefits: Helps make you a better boss, friend, parent and partner because of it.
He suggested 3 hours cumulative a day…. this might seem crazy BUT the average screen time of an adult in the US is over 4 hours a day.
20 minutes here, an hour there…it all adds up.
Don’t feel guilty about it. do the exact opposite actually… and prioritize it.
I've been doing it ever since.
Here’s how I get my 3 hours: morning breathwork (20 mins), hour run, hour sauna, balance is reading! BOOOOM
