The 501st Legion is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Honorary Member Kenneth Colley. Inducted into the 501st Legion in 2002, Kenneth Colley will always be remembered for his unforgettable portrayal of Admiral Piett in Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi. He was the only actor to portray the same Imperial officer in more than one Star Wars film, making his character a standout in the saga. Outside of Star Wars, Colley's distinguished career included roles such as Jesus in Monty Python’s Life of Brian and Gerhardt Boldt in Hitler: The Last Ten Days, where he performed alongside fellow Star Wars icons Alec Guinness and Julian Glover. Kenneth may not have often appeared on the convention circuit, but when he did, he left a lasting impression with his warmth and gratitude toward fans.
