The "world's most beautiful woman", Gina Lollobrigida has died aged 95.
The Italian actress won international acclaim for her screen roles throughout the 1950s and '60s. Starring opposite Humphrey Bogart in her breakthrough English-language film, "Beat the Devil", the actor famously declared that she made "Marilyn Monroe look like Shirley Temple".
Enjoying a second career as a photojournalist, "La Lollo" had also moved into politics, standing for election to the Italian parliament in 2022.
