🎨🚨 𝘙𝘦𝘷𝘰𝘭𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘴 𝘈𝘯 𝘈𝘣𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 and 𝘎𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘗𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘴 on view December 7th at artclubhtx. In 𝘙𝘦𝘷𝘰𝘭𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, Cuban artist Reynier Leyva Novo has created a series of concrete-slab paintings of Soviet propaganda posters stripped of their original textual and ideological content. In doing so, viewers are more clearly able to see the art as symbols of the emptiness of utopian revolutionary dreams. Novo will also be debuting his collaborative work with Daniel Santoyo called 𝘎𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘗𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘴. The triptych multichannel video work explores the rigid structures of ideological design using Unreal Engine, turning them into fluid and dynamic forms. ART — CLUB is opening on Dec 7th.
