I got laid off 9 months ago, and here’s how life is going 🫣 Full Q&A on YouTube!! (Sorry meant to post this earlier, but life’s been kooky lately. YouTube saw it first!!) For the new friends here - I worked at Discord as a product manager. I was the product lead for Community Engagement and built Forum Channels. Then I joined the Creator Revenue team and launched Server Shop (where you can sell digital products in your server). I loved my time there, but also had the most pivotal year of my life after. I still keep in touch with my Discord colleagues 🫶 lots of love for them! I’m giving myself this year as a gap year to pursue all the creative things, but I sincerely have no idea what’s to come after.
