does anyone else feel that guilt spending money or is it just my crippling eldest daughter tendencies? 🥲 nonetheless, I’m very happy with this purchase. I’ll post the mentioned articles in my stories! I do want to give more context to this post. I was initially hesitant to post because I don’t love promoting overconsumption. (Social media has way too much of that.) But I deeply believe it’s a very real dream to one day buy something that cherishes yourself and represents a chapter of your life. It could be bags, watches, or a special meal. I grew up in a low-income, financial aid, immigrant household. I took on 2-3 part-time jobs in college at once, and was on my own after graduation. I help financially support my brothers. I’ve spent almost a decade working in tech nonstop (until this year) and it’s completely changed my life.
