Highly ranked heading into the qualifiers, they proved to be one of the top teams securing the 2-seed in their qualifier. They came into the main event week as the #5 ranked team in the world and they spent 3 days proving they were number 1 winning 8-straight games. Despite their dominance they had to overcome quite the hurdle of being down 5-2 at halftime of the championship but they came out the break firing on all cylinders. They went on a 4-1 run in the second half eventually scoring the game winning goal in the final 2-minutes of regulation.
