So after posting my oven baked wings I got a bunch of comments and messages about other sauces, and for me one of my favorite sauces has to be Chick Fil A sauce but it always has a weird gummy texture. After a bunch of different combos I’ve landed on what I think is the PERFECT copycat Chick Fil A sauce! It’s the right combination of smokey and sweet - and the key for me is a smokey bbq sauce. I’ll use my own but a good store bought alternative I’ve found is sbrbbq sweet and smokey bbq sauce (I prefer the no sugar added variety).
