Frank Hensley, ’04, is in the Kansas City spotlight with his new rap song, Bleed Blue, about the KCRoyals. Frank lowercasedfrank co-wrote and performed the song with krizzkaliko. You can hear Frank talk about Bleed Blue today on fox4kc around 9:40 a.m., hot103jamz around 2:50 p.m. and the Royals pregame show on fanduelsportsnetworkkc at 6:10 p.m.
Frank also wrote the 2003 Royals theme song, “Get On The Bus.” He got his start as a rapper in his hometown of
#KC, producing his own albums under the name X Dash and working for Tech N9ne’s music label, Strange Music before moving to Los Angeles. He regularly appears on the World Famous Wake Up Show on Sirius XM’s Shade45 with Sway and King Tech. For 17 years, Frank’s day job has been at Universal Music Group in California where he started as an intern and now serves as Vice President of Partner Labels. He was a jewellbaseball player and communication major.
