Yesterday, I had the honor of shooting the PWHL Takeover Tour at Little Caesars Arena, where the Minnesota Frost faced off against the New York Sirens in front of an electric crowd. With 14,288 fans in attendance, Detroit broke the U.S. attendance record for the second year in a row while also surpassing one million fans in attendance since its launch. It was yet another milestone for the league and a testament to the undeniable passion for women’s hockey in this city. Let’s keep pushing for more opportunities, more visibility, and more spaces for women’s sports to thrive! The demand is there. The talent is here.
