SWIPE! ⬅️ Lexus Japan has announced that production of the IS300 and IS500 will officially end by November 2025, with order availability closing once final allocations are met. This marks the conclusion of the current-generation IS, which debuted in 2013 and received key updates over the years, including major facelifts in 2017 and 2020. The move signals a shift as Lexus prepares for a potential next-generation model, likely with electrification in mind. To send off the IS lineup in style, Lexus will release a special limited-run “Climax Edition” of the IS500. Only 500 units will be produced, with deliveries expected around August 2025. This edition features 19-inch BBS wheels, upgraded Brembo brakes, a red and black interior, and exclusive badging and welcome graphics. It retains the naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 pushing 472 horsepower, serving as a final celebration of Lexus’s V8 sport sedan legacy.
