Since everyone is so fired up and digs the recent the XR400 video, here are some bikes that @bbrmotorsports made back in 1996. An aluminum framed XR400, and a XR250 punched to a 280. They used the CR geometry and were super light and fast for four strokes at the time. You can also see the XR150 that they did, which used YZ80 geometry and a punched out XR100 engine. All of these bikes were made before four stroke aluminum race bikes were a thing.
