The 1983 Honda CR480 is still making progress. The gas tank, swingarm , and monocoque subframe are done and at the heat treater. The gas tank we made just like the Magoo RC500 tank, it was skinnier and taller and we used the smaller ‘79 CR gas cap and neck so it was smaller. My uncle Chris made the threaded neck on the lathe (second picture). Big thanks to @terranguccini and @mzewzl221 for tracking down some hard to find parts for us. @ridedunlop came through with some tires . @crankworksinc is finishing up the crank and then we should have this project wrapped up in time for the @classxmx 500 Nightmare race. #CR480 #1983 #honda #vintage #motocross
