Another look at the custom J1 OG high pair that we did to match the #7 jrmotorsports car that j_allgaier drives. brandt_co owner Rick Brandt and I have talked about a pair for him for a couple years now. I was finally able to hand him his pair at the Daytona race a few weeks ago. This was a special collaboration for me with a new friend and artist mountsean Sean’s story has been seen all over the news the last month since the LA fires. He’s an OG sneakerhead and lost around 200 pairs ($100k) in collectable sneakers when his home burned down. As a painter, I thought it would be cool to involve him in a project like this. This was his first pair of shoes that he painted and he did an amazing job helping with all Ty details of the corn areas.
