After coming back from NYC🗽I learned that there was going to be a large aurora event 🌌happening and I knew I had to go witness it. I planned on being in Squamish for the day to 1. avoid all the working traffic 🚗 and 2. because I love Squamish and the mountains 🏔️and the trees. 🌲 You don’t realize you miss something a lot until you go into the polar opposite and for me I missed the clean air, the trees, and the mountains. 💨🌲🏔️ I originally planned on shooting at Alexander Falls which is is in Callahan Valley close to Whistler.⛷️I had my sleeping bag, a little blanket, my hot chocolate ☕️ along with my @msr_gear camp stove 🏕️all ready and also not to forget my camera. 📸 I was going to watch the show from there until a conservation officer came over to me telling me that the area has been closed off due to a Grizzly bear 🐻 in the area, and well I’m all for seeing a grizzly, just not particularly all alone in the dark.
