Missed this one but back on June 20th, Stevenson University announced the hiring of Matt Bruneteau as head coach for the Mustangs’ men’s ice hockey team. He succeeds Dominick Dawes, who accepted the same position at Norwich. Bruneteau played four seasons from 2010-2014 at Lake Superior State (DI) skating in 146 games while accumulating three goals & fifteen assists for eighteen points for the Lakers. Bruneteau, a native of Omaha, NE, graduated from #LSSU with a degree in Exercise Science before starting his pro career. He dressed in ten games in the #ECHL as he split time between the Fort Wayne Komets and Greenville Road Warriors after leaving LSSU. From 2014-2016, he went overseas and played two seasons for Strasbourg Etoile Noire (France) playing in fifty-two games and adding ten playoff games.
