Testing the Black Soft Glow filter by tiffencompany Night photography in Japan is something special. On top of that, I was trying out the Black Soft Glow 1/2 filter which is completely new to me. I’ve used a couple diffusion filters in the past, but I really wanted to start a deep dive into which ones work best for me. This is the first of my series of diffusion filter tests and the results are very good to the point I already don’t want to take this first filter off my camera. This filter was great at keeping contrast while still adding some bloom to the highlights. So my darks held their tone and the whole frame held its color perfectly.
