Talk about a successful book launch 🙌🏾📚 Howard University Graduate School Dean Dana A. Williams, author of “Toni at Random,” sat down with Howard alumna Ayesha Rascoe at D.C.’s Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library to chat about the book’s development, Toni Morrison’s iconic career, and the future of the publishing industry for Black women. The book follows Toni Morrison’s journey at Random House as she became one of its most important editors and worked with writers and icons such as Toni Cade Bambara, Leon Forrest, Lucille Clifton, Angela Davis, and Muhammad Ali. This event was a partnership between Mahogany Books and D.C. Public Library, and every copy brought to the event was purchased! You can grab your copy from mahoganybooks or amistadbooks and read more about this event with the link in our bio. #howarduniversity #tonimorrison
