I have wanted a pair for some time but always found an excuse to not pull the trigger. My friends told me that boots always take a long time to break in and I also find most boots to be either boring or bodacious. Fortunately, the matter was taken out of my hands when I received a pair of Whisky River Lamars as a birthday gift. Upon opening then, I was really pleased with their understated style. The leather is so soft and I love the rich brown color. My wife also commented on the high quality of the leather and craftsmanship, saying how they eclipse her boots. I wore them to work but brought my normal shoes in case they started hurting because I spend most of the day on my feet. I was amazed how comfortable they were and my old shoes never left my bag.
