“Non-Monogamy Visibility Week will take place from July 7-13 as a celebration of non-monogamous communities around the world. As someone who’s only ever been in monogamous relationships, I’ve been curious how polyamorous folks are able to navigate the complex emotions that must come with dating multiple people. To learn more about polyamory and what it can teach us about love, I spoke with local therapist Lindsay Hayes, who specializes in working with individuals and couples in nontraditional relationship structures, and who has been in an open marriage herself for over a decade.
