Bad News & Good News... Unfortunately this past weekend I suffered an injury at the college prospect combine I attended. I have 2 significant tears in my shoulder and will be off the mats for 6 to 8 weeks. This means I will no longer be wrestling at our teams upcoming events or competing at this years East Coast ADCC Trials. I'm sorry to let my teammates and everyone down, but the risks outweigh the rewards, especially at my age. I'm pissed off and broken hearted, but shit happens. We deal with it and move forward. The good news is through multiple people reaching out to help me and recommendations, I was able to connect with Dr. Angelo Caprio of integratedpainmanagementllc who saw me immediately. We discussed stem cell injections as a great way to repair these injuries and proceeded with the treatment. I'm hoping for a full recovery with the proper rest and physical therapy.
