Today is National Black Women in Sports Day! And let me be clear, I am because a BLACK woman (_careyon) made a way for me! She opened the door, and now I carry that same torch with pride, purpose, and power. We are not just “here.” We are NEEDED. We bring VALUE to every table, every room, every field, and every decision. I am a Black woman in sports, and I will continue to shatter every barrier meant to confine me. I refuse to shrink in spaces I was born to lead in.
