Bighorn 100 — My WHY
In my opinion, the WHY is everything for a 100. When the going gets tough, having my why is what keeps any doubt from seeping into my mind and makes the finish line all but a certainty.
Simply put, I did this one for me. Less simply put, I wanted to go deep, get fully present, and surrender to the headspace that I’ve only ever found mid-100. Within that, my intention was to be curious and hope I could learn about life and myself within that space. Most of all, I hoped to find a lesson of self-love. And so, to be open to said lesson, my why was to do this race and embrace all that came with it as an act of loving myself.
