Veteran Campus Captain Sophia Shiroff shares on our blog about her four, soon to be five, years as a Campus Captain. The distance runner opens up about the mental health challenges she was facing when she first joined our THO family as a high school student. While navigating the unexpected passing of her head coach, Sophia talks about what a meaningful outlet THO has been for her. She says, “within every interaction with The Hidden Opponent, they remind student-athletes that the most important thing in life before sport, school, and activism is that we’re human and we are not alone in whatever life throws at us”. We are so thankful to have you on our team, Sophia💚 Interested in connecting with others like Sophia? Campus Captain applications will remain open for O...
