The pork is juicy and tender, and while it can be made with all types of cuts of pork, my favorite is the pork loin which has a little more fat that keeps the pork nice and juicy while the panko breadcrumbs create an extra crispy crust! Topped with tonkatsu sauce and paired with cabbage, it’s such a comfort meal! For a leaner cut, you can also use pork tenderloin.
