HEARTLAND : PART I is OUT NOW 🌐 making this album was a labor of love with huge unknowns. no label. no publisher. no manager at the start … just very much a product of wanting to talk about life on this farm with my husband in a rural part of Tennessee. The heartland - as it stands - is not normally a place for people like me. It doesn’t always feel welcoming unless you’re a specific type of American. But statistically speaking - the heartland is full of all of us - whether that’s the mainstream narrative or not. We are and will always be here. Releasing this independently has felt so good. And my managers at onesparkent and mtheoryllc have expanded the team to take this across the finish line that feels very true to me.
