Samsung’s newest foldable lineup just got a little bigger – and affordable.
Alongside the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7, the company introduced a more affordable Fan Edition: the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. At $899.99, it’s still no budget phone – but it’s meant to bring Samsung’s folding tech to a slightly wider audience.
In person, the Flip 7 FE feels like a streamlined version of last year’s Z Flip 6. It’s thicker and heavier than the Flip 7, and its smaller Flex Window display feels more cramped – but it still looks sharp and handles well. You won’t get all the bells and whistles of its premium siblings, but it holds its own.
The Flip 7 FE supports Galaxy AI features like Circle to Search and Gemini Live, letting you use the outer screen to ask questions, translate, or even check your outfit. The AI assistant can dig through your apps, prep your commute, or serve up contextual info without ever opening the phone.
