Trash collection will resume on Monday in Philadelphia after Mayor Cherelle Parker's administration and AFSCME District Council 33 reached a tentative deal following an eight day strike. During the work stoppage, garbage piled up throughout several neighborhoods in the city. City officials are asking residents to be patient as they prepare for regular trash picks ups by assigning staff and taking inventory of equipment.
