SWIPE! ⬅️ A motorsport team called Rauh Racing, led by brothers Filip and Felix Rauh, has officially earned the necessary permits to enter their heavily modified 1995 Renault Twingo, nicknamed the “Twingoat”, in races on the Nürburgring, including the prestigious 24 Hours of Nürburgring. The team completed nearly 30 laps during an open test session and passed a rigorous two-day evaluation program, securing the DPN B Permit, which is required for racing on the Nordschleife. The Twingo has been completely transformed from a humble city car into a serious endurance racer. It now features a 2.0-liter engine from a Renaultsport Clio 172, tuned to around 200 horsepower. The car weighs about 850 kilograms and includes major race-spec upgrades like a roll cage, racing suspension, high-performance brakes, a fire suppression system, and a fuel cell.
