Today, 3 years ago “Me On You” came out.
In the weird world where a 10 second video can change your career, we are so grateful for what this song as done for us over the last few years. It came at a pivotal time for us. We’d been we a band for 7 years and for the first time in our career it felt like we had finally find our “thing” with this song and for a couple of weeks after release, it was literally the biggest song in the world.
Only saying that for 2 reasons:
1. For all aspiring artist, finding your identity can take time so, don’t get discouraged if it takes awhile to figure it out, keep searching for authenticity, block out the outside noise and and just keep going.
2. You can have success as an independent artist. If you’re willing to make the time investment and be willing to do all the “un-sexy” things that come with it, you’ll look up 10 years later enjoying what you’re doing, on your own terms.
